Northern Illinois PsA Fighters

A group for people fighting PsA in the Northern Illinois area.  For now, we are just wanting to meet others in the area who are dealing with the life effects of Psoriatic Arthritis.  Eventually, we would like to have meetings bringing in professionals to help us deal with pain, depression, exercise and other aspects of the disease.

I hope everyone is keeping well this winter.  I haven't been on much because I have been keeping very busy and (knock on wood) been feeling pretty good as well.  My New Years Resolution is to make people more aware of our disease and let others know it really exists.  Since the New Year, I have been letting people know I have health issues and surprisingly, I have discovered a few more people with this disease.  I plan to invite them to join our little group and hopefully we can arrange a meeting sometime this summer when we do not have to worry about 'getting snowed in'.  The year has been flying and time is passing so quickly.  I hope you all have a wonderful low pain

week.

I'm interested in knowing how everyone deals with the winter. I have a hard time with my joints and skin when it gets cold. I'm also interested in hearing about Enbrel & pregnancy, if anyone has any info or experience.

I know there are others from the Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin area that may be interested in a group meeting so I think I am going to start a discussion about it on the regular site.  Maybe we can gain some members from it as well.

Hello everyone!

Count me in for a meeting.  Saturday or Sunday works best for me.

Would any of you be interested in meeting some Saturday?  I would be willing to set up a time and place to meet if there is enough interest.

Hi All,

Interested to find this group of people who like me, have been diagnosed with PsA.  I have been in treatment since March and am very interested in hearing about others' experiences. I am in south east WI.

Sorry I haven't been able to meet with the nutritionist yet as we have had a death in the family and I will be making a trip to Michigan today for the funeral.  I will post more after I meet with her.
